People looking for a counsellor are hesitant. A cold sales call is the fastest way to lose them. For an online counselling practice that works with professionals we ran gentle ads that open a WhatsApp chat, and let the AI answer kindly. In 14 days: ₹2,793 spent, 16 enquiries, 11 qualified, about ₹254 per qualified enquiry.
At a glance
| Client | An online counselling practice for working professionals, serving Hyderabad, Bengaluru and four more cities |
|---|---|
| Goal | People ready to book a first session |
| Channels | Meta ads that open WhatsApp, website tracking, WhatsApp AI, CRM |
| Period | 20 October to 2 November 2026 |
| Result | ₹2,793 spent, 16 enquiries, 11 qualified (₹254 each) |
The challenge
The counsellor's message was strong (from overthinking to inner clarity) but the website got visits, not conversations. People read, felt understood, and left without writing.
What we did
- Ads about the feeling, not the price. Overthinking, stress at work and feeling stuck, written in plain words, shown to professionals in six cities.
- A tap opens WhatsApp. No form to fill. The chat starts with a kind hello and one question at a time.
- An AI that knows when to step back. It explains how a first session works, offers a time, and hands over to the counsellor the moment someone wants a person.
- Tracking on the website too. Our script records website enquiries in the same CRM, so we can compare ad chats with website enquiries.
The results
- 16 enquiries in 14 days from ₹2,793 of ad spend.
- 11 qualified: real people, the right concern, ready to talk about a session.
- About ₹254 per qualified enquiry.
What we learned
In wellness, the reply matters more than the ad. A warm, unhurried WhatsApp answer turns a curious reader into a booked session; a delay of a day loses them. When the practice's automation was briefly off, chats waited, and the ads kept spending. We now watch every client's automation and switch it back on, or tell the client the same day.
How we work for therapists, counsellors and coaches
- No pushy sales lines, no promises of cures, and nothing that breaks Meta's health advertising rules.
- Privacy first: chats stay in the practitioner's own WhatsApp and CRM.
- We measure booked first sessions, not likes.
Questions owners ask us
Is it ethical to use AI to answer therapy enquiries?
The AI only welcomes people, explains how sessions work and offers a time. It never gives therapy or advice, and it hands over to the counsellor whenever someone asks for a person.
Which works better for counsellors: forms or WhatsApp?
In our experience WhatsApp, because it feels like a private conversation rather than a sales form.
How we report: every number here comes from the client's own lead list in our CRM for 20 October to 2 November 2026. We do not name clients without their permission.
Want the same for your business? Leave your WhatsApp number and we will show you, for your industry and city, which ads to run, what the AI says to your enquiries and what a realistic first month looks like.
